Meaning of the Name:
Jueyin, extreme Yin; shu, point.
Location:
The point is at 1.5 cun lateral to the DU Meridian, at the same level of the lower border of the spinous process of the fourth thoracic vertebra.
Action:
Regulates the Qi-circulation.
Uses:
Cough, cardiac pain, palpitations, stuffy chest, vomiting.
Acupuncture Manipulation Method:
Puncture obliquely for 0.5-0.8 cun.
Notes:
The Back-Shu acupoint of the Hand Jueyin.

Meaning:
Fei, lung; shu, acupoint. This is the point that the Qi of the Lung is infused.
Location:
The point is at 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the third thoracic vertebra.
Action:
Regulates the Qi of the Lung, relieves cough, clears heat.
Uses:
Cough, asthma, hematemesis, afternoon fever, night sweating, nasal congestion.
Acupuncture Manipulation Method:
Puncture obliquely toward the midline of the back for 0.5-0.8 cun. Use acupuncture for acute diseases; use moxibustion or acupuncture with moxibustion for chronic diseases.
Notes:
Back-Shu acupoint of the lung. Avoid deep insertion. This is the major point for respiratory diseases.

Meaning:
Feng, wind; men, door, gate. The point is located at the place vulnerable to be invaded by pathogenic wind, so it is useful in healing diseases caused by pathogenic wind. The point is deemed as the gate of pathogenic wind.
Location:
The point is at 1.5 cun lateral to the the DU meridian, at the same level of the lower border of the spinous process of the second thoracic vertebra.
Action:
Expels wind, regulates the circulation of Qi.
Uses:
Common cold, headaches, fever, cough, nasal congestion, running nose, stiff neck, chest and back pain.
Acupuncture Manipulation Method:
Puncture obliquely toward the midline for 0.5-0.8 cun. Do not puncture deeply or upward.
Notes:
The crossing and meeting point between the Foot Taiyang channel and the DU channel.

Meaning of the Name:
Da, big; zhu, shuttle.
Location:
This point is at 1.5 cun lateral to the point DU 13 (Taodao), at the level of the lower boder of the spinous process of the first thoracic vertebra.
Action:
Expels wind, eases pain.
Uses:
Pain in the neck and back, pain and soreness in the scapular region, cough, fever, stiff neck.
Acupuncture Manipulation Method:
Puncture obliquely for 0.5-0.8 cun.
Notes:
One of the eight crossing and meeting points, the meeting point of Hand and Foot Taiyang channels. Do not puncture too deep, avoid damaging organs inside.
