Herbal Diet

Herbal diet is not just a simple combination of food with
herbs, but rather takes advantage of the efficacy of herbs and the delicacy of
food and cooking techniques. Different herbal diet can be prepared for specific
purposes, to prevent diseases, to maintain health, to help the treatment of
diseases, and for anti-aging. Herbal diet therapy has a long history in Chinese
Herbal Medicine. As early as in the Zhou Dynasty (about 1000 B.C.), there were
�dietary therapists�who used their knowledge of herbs and foods to serve the
emperor and the royal family. The form of herbal diet includes herbal juice,
herbal tea, herbal wine, herbal soup, herbal porridge, herbal cake, herbal
dishes, herbal dumpling, etc.
